Victor Crescent seeks a Switchboard Operator to answer and redirect a high volume of calls in a timely manner. In this role, you are typically the first point of contact that an outside caller has with our organization, so it's essential for you to be professional and helpful at all times. You may also need to perform basic receptionist and data entry duties, such as checking in guests for appointments or registering patients upon arrival. Our ideal candidate has excellent phone skills and can stay calm in various situations to deal with requests or issues. It's also beneficial to have experience in a customer service-oriented role.

SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer phones and redirect calls to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner

• Keep a detailed record of call information

• Fulfill various receptionist duties as needed

• Perform data entry tasks

SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 Certificate or Tertiary Certificate

• Excellent phone skills

• Top-notch communication and listening skills

• Basic computer proficiency

• Experience in a customer service role (preferred)
