Victor Crescent is seeking an energetic, qualified individual to join our company as a Construction Assistant. As part of our team, you assist the Construction Manager with all aspects of construction and site administration. You supervise and inspect the work of trade partners to ensure quality workmanship, keep an inventory of company materials and tools, and maintain a log of job site incidents and occurrences. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time management skills who can accomplish goals with minimal supervision. You should have at least an associate degree or vocational training in construction management; bachelor's degrees or higher are preferred.

CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Construction Manager with all aspects of site administration and construction procedures
Supervise trade partners to ensure work is done according to specifications
Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards
Inventory site tools and equipment
Log site incidents and occurrences

CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in construction management or relevant field; bachelor's degree or higher preferred
Experience with construction site administration and procedures
Experience with blueprint reading, compliance requirements, and commercial construction
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities
